2015 Coleman Vineyard Pinot Noir

The Coleman vineyard is close to the Van Duzer corridor, an opening through the Coast Range mountains to the Oregon coast, providing hot summer days with afternoon winds cooling the evening temperatures significantly. We believe this temperature variation, along with the volcanic soils, contribute to the phenolic characteristics and brightness of the wine, providing a structure for aging and signature dark cherry and spice flavors with intense color.

A vintage that boasts a full compact structure. This wine features a well-balanced and diverse array of taste and aroma characteristics. Rich concentration on the nose of raspberry, rainier cherry and sea air. A mouthfeel of tart pie cherry, vibrant minerality, distinctive earth and pepper. The finish blends smooth enveloping tannins with bright acidity.
