Oregon Pinot Noir - Seufert Winery

Oregon Pinot Noir - the Seufert Winery way

What's your flavor?

Silky smooth, elegant, and refined? Floral?  Fruity? Dark, complex and spicy? Chances are good that we make an Oregon Pinot Noir that perfectly matches your style.

Looking for a wine to enliven a fireside conversation?  Or perhaps you want a versatile wine to pair with food.  Come sample our small lot single-vineyard Pinot Noirs to find your flavor.  For example, here's what you could discover:

Bishop Creek Vineyard - Located in Oregon's Yamhill-Carlton District AVA, Bishop Creek is Certified Sustainable by LIVE (Low Input Viticulture and Enology) and Salmon Safe. This Pinot is for the traditionalist that loves Burgundian style wine. "an earthy Pinot with ripe aromas of black cherry and violet; flavors consist of a smoke, pepper and coffee with hints of green tea."

Momtazi Vineyard - Certified Biodynamic vineyard in the McMinnville AVA that produces a big, complex Pinot.  Rich, dark color with loads of cherry and blackberry fruit flavors wrapped around a backbone of smooth integrated tannins.  A blend of Dijon clones 115 and 777. This wine is the favorite in our tasting room.

Tour some of Oregon's best vineyards in one stop.  Discover the differences between vineyard sites, clones, appellations, and farming practices.  All in a low-key, relaxed environment.  Fourth generation Oregonian and winemaker Jim Seufert personally guides you through our Pinot Noir from 12 different vineyards.  Get your questions answered in a straightforward and easy to understand manner.
