Seufert Winery Pinot Noir - Vine Idyl Vineyard 2009

Vine Idyl is a tiny 2 acre parcel in the Coast Range foothills above Dallas, Oregon. This site is planted entirely to Pommard clone Pinot Noir and due to it's elevation consistently produces small berries. This means there's a lot of skin relative to the amount of grape pulp and juice. This results in a concentrated wine loaded with red berry fruit flavors.

The last vintage for our Dolcetto, this 'little sweet one' bids farewell. Bold in color with fruit forward flavors, it's no wonder Jim Seufert fell in love with this varietal during his treks through Italy.
