2005 Seufert Winery Pinot Noir - Coleman Vineyard

Cool wet weather before harvest allowed our 2005 Pinot to pick up subtle flavors without becoming over ripe.  It has the deep garnet-ruby color typical of the McMinnville AVA. The nose reveals a heady combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and floral aromas.  Good acidity, juicy ripe raspberry and cherry flavors, and a hint of vanilla lead to a silky mid palate mouth feel.  Minerals, spices, and well balanced tannins create an intriguing finish.  This wine is drinking nicely now, and it will reward medium-term cellar aging.

2006 Seufert Winery Pinot Noir - Sunnyridge Vineyard

This is quite possibly the smallest commercial vineyard in the McMinnville AVA - covering a mere one-half acre.  However, in this case, size does not matter.  This little vineyard produces intensely flavored fruit… that commands respect. This is our bigggest Pinot with a wonderfully complex nose, bold, dark fruits flavors with a long black pepper finish. "I've died and gone to heavan" sighed a recent guest. Less than 40 cases produced.
